Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of CompCode ("Service"), operated by Sergejs Jaunzems ("we", "us"). By using CompCode, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Description

CompCode is a commission management platform that calculates, tracks, and reports sales commissions based on deal data from your connected CRM. The Service includes API access, a web dashboard, and CRM integrations.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys and session credentials.
One workspace per CRM connection. Do not share API keys across organizations.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to access other users' workspaces or data.
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or redistribute the Service.
Exceed reasonable API usage limits or abuse webhook endpoints.

4. Data Ownership

Your data: You retain ownership of all CRM data, commission plans, and business data you provide to CompCode.
Our service: We retain ownership of the CompCode platform, engine, API, and dashboard.
Commission calculations: Results generated by our engine based on your plans and data belong to you.

5. Commission Accuracy

CompCode calculates commissions based on the plan rules you configure and the deal data synced from your CRM. We make reasonable efforts to ensure calculation accuracy, but:

You are responsible for verifying commission calculations before making payouts.
Floating-point arithmetic may produce minor rounding differences (typically under $0.01).
We are not liable for incorrect payouts resulting from misconfigured plans, incomplete CRM data, or webhook delivery failures.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime.

7. Pricing and Billing

Free tier includes limited reps and calculations per month.
Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe.
We may change pricing with 30 days notice.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

8. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days, then deleted.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CompCode is provided "as is" without warranties. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Latvia.
